What do I need to make a Talisman?

You must have a Fragment, a container, Magical Essence and Gold Essence. You can also add a Curio to improve your chances of making a superior Talisman but this is optional.

Fragments
Fragments are the foundation of talisman making. These are used to create Talismans. The type of fragment will decide what type of talisman you will make.

When you hover over the fragment in your backpack a tooltip will show. In this tooltip it will say what the fragment will make.

You can buy low level fragments from a crafting merchant. These fragments will suffice for the first few levels of your skill but for the higher levels of talisman making you will need better fragments.
To get these better fragments you will need to take up salvaging. You can also buy fragments from other players by using the Auction House.

Gold Essence
Gold essence is required to make a talisman. You can buy Gold Essence from merchants or from the Auction House. Apothecaries can also make Gold Essence.

Magical Essence
Magical Essence is needed to make a talisman. You can buy low level magical essence from a crafting vendor. Players with the Salvaging trade-skill can salvage Magical Essence.

Curio
A curio is an item that will boost the stats on a fragment. This is not needed to make a talisman but it without one you reduce your chances of making better talismans.
